Body Shape Guide


 

Here at Frenchie and Boss, we believe that fashion is about feeling great in clothes you love. We really want to help inspire confidence so you feel great about your body and dressing every day.

Knowing your basic body shape and understanding the types of clothes that will accentuate your good features (and minimise your less than perfect bits!), means you'll be able to dress in a way that really suits you.

We have developed a basic body shape guide to help you try to identify what body shape you may have, provide tips and tricks on how to dress for your individual shape and how to make the most out of your assets.

There are five basic body shapes that we refer to when helping women to dress to flatter their figure.  

Pear -  Pears have a bigger derrière, wider at the hips
Apple -  Round at the tummy, the waist is usually the biggest part of the body.
Hourglass - well defined waist, bust/shoulder measurements are close to that of the hip measurement
Inverted Triangle - Wider at the shoulders and bust
Rectangle - as the name suggests, straight up and down, a boyish figure
